2019 Smart Home Christmas Ideas: Automate Your Holidays!

The holidays are a fun time to be enjoy smart home tech. This video will show you some of the easy ways I’m automating my holidays! Start simple by using inexpensive smart plugs for things like Christmas trees, lights, and other electronics. Outdoor plugs are great for automating those Christmas lights outside. Then you are able to create new scenes, add to existing ones, or create automations with all of your decorations. Have your tree automatically come on in the morning or when you arrive home! Take it a step further, like I have, and use Siri shortcuts to turn on your decorations, play some Christmas music, and give you a countdown until Christmas! No more hunting on your knees underneath the Christmas tree for that on switch!
