BEST WHITES
Winner: Nanoleaf Essentials
The dedicated white LEDs on the Nanoleaf Essentials Lightstrip are the brightest of the three. Bright cool and warm whites make it the best for functional lighting when getting the brightest, most pure whites are a priority.
BEST COLORS
Winner: Govee M1
WIth 60 LEDs per meter (over twice as many as the others), the Govee M1 provides the brightest, most saturated colors. Individually addressable LEDs also allow for great effects and music modes. The Govee app has the most pre-made effects and scenes.
BEST OVERALL
Winner: Aqara T1 (if you have an Aqara Hub)
The T1 has dedicate white LEDs, meaning it can provide pure, tunable warm and cool whites for functional lighting. Colors are also very bright and come in a close second behind Govee. Independently addressable LEDs allow for nice lighting effects and music modes.
Zigbee connection gives the lightstrip great speed and reliability. However, the need for an Aqara Zigbee Hub may be a downside for many. The ability to use Adaptive Lighting, light effects, and music modes in the Apple Home app (when paired to a hub without Matter) is a nice addition for Apple Home users.
