Everything NEW Coming to HomeKit “LATER THIS FALL”

We are still looking for many of the HomeKit features that were promised to us with the release of iOS 13. And many things are still changing with each new beta that is released. So to help clarify, today we are going to discuss all of the changes and everything NEW coming to HomeKit later this fall. Some of these changes are things that are showing up in the iOS 13 betas and others are things Apple has promised to be released “later this fall.”

“Show as Separate Tiles” – The OPTION to ungroup accessories
HomeKit accessory firmware updates – Showing available updates in the status area and home screen badge
Voice Recognition/Multiple User Support for HomePod
HomeKit Secure Video
HomeKit supported routers
Airplay 2 support in Automations – Play chime or music when sensor is triggered, when you arrive, or when a scene is activated.
Audio Handoff for the HomePod
Automatically Airplay to TVs – Now AirPlay can automatically play movies and shows in the places you’re most likely to watch them.
HomeKit Doorbells and other products coming soon.
