This is a tutorial showing how to create a Home Status report for your smart home using Siri Shortcuts. It will check the status of your HomeKit accessories and provide a report showing you only the things you need to know. Towards the end we’ll discuss a few variations and possibilities to take this further.

This will utilize the power of variables in Siri Shortcuts and serves as a good introduction to variables if this is new to you. An iPhone or iPad and HomeKit accessories are required to follow along.
