How to Add SMART String Lights to Your Deck! SUPER EASY!
In this video I’ll show you how to add string lights to your deck and control them with your phone. The setup was super easy. This method will work with HomeKit, Alexa, or Google Assistant!
I did not have a roof or cover directly above my deck to hang these lights from. So I went to Lowes and purchased some shephard’s hooks that would be tall enough and put them at each corner of my deck. I then found a good spot on the roof to connect the string lights from to each shepherd’s hook. From there, simply use the iDevices outdoor smart plug to connect the lights with HomeKit!
