Published by Shane W. on

Apple just released iOS 16.2 which brings a big update to all HomeKit users – a new home architecture. Join me as I update all my products and my smart home and I’ll share everything you need to know about this update.

UPDATE: As of 12/22/2022, after multiple reports of users having issues, Apple has reportedly removed the option to upgrade to the new architecture from the home app. The Home app in iOS 16.2 no longer offers the option to upgrade to the new architecture. Visit here for more information
